Abstracts Submission

WRITING RULES
  1. Abstracts will be collected via the online abstract system.
  2. Academic titles should not be used in author names.
  3. Names should be written in lowercase letters, with only the first letter capitalized.
  4. The names and addresses of the institutions where the authors work must be stated.
  5. Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized (abbreviations are exceptions).
  6. If an abbreviation is used in the abstract, the full name of the abbreviation should be stated in parentheses.
  7. In the abstract, the purpose of the study and the methods used should be briefly stated, the findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail, and the conclusion should be explained within the framework of the findings presented.
  8. The entire abstract should not exceed 500 words, excluding the title name, author's name and surname.
  9. The text should be a single paragraph. 1 picture/1 table can be added.
  10. The maximum number of authors that can be written is 12.
  11. Papers must include the names and surnames of the authors.
POINTS TO CONSIDER
  • If you are going to use the DigiAbstract module for the first time, register to the system using the "New Registration" link.
  • The explanations on the page will help you after registration. Read the given messages and explanations carefully.
  • Since abstracts sent over the internet will be printed in the same way, attention should be paid to spelling errors.
  • Save the confirmation messages that will be sent to your e-mail address after you submit your abstract.
  • You can follow the entire evaluation process of your paper through the system with your e-mail and password.

EVALUATION OF PAPERS

The evaluation will be made over the internet by the Paper Evaluation Committee, keeping the names/surnames and institutions of the researchers confidential. In order for the papers to be evaluated, at least one of the researchers must complete the congress registration process. The evaluation result will be sent to all presenters as a final letter.

PAPER ACCEPTANCE-REJECTION RESPONSES

The evaluation results of all abstracts you have submitted will be notified to you in writing as of November 7, 2025, in the form of acceptance or rejection.

NİLGÜN ACAR CONGRESS ABSTRACTS AWARDS

The six papers that were accepted and selected as oral and poster presentations by the Paper Evaluation Committee were awarded by Turkish Blood Centers and Transfusion Association "Dr. Nilgün Acar Incentive Awards will be given. Case reports will not be evaluated. Paper owners who want to be nominated for the awards will state their wishes when they submit their abstracts "online". If more than one researcher has prepared the paper that is eligible to receive the award, the researchers will share the award among them. The award-winning researchers will be announced at the Gala Ceremony and their awards will be given to them at this time.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentations will be selected by the Paper Evaluation Committee among the papers sent to the congress. Oral presentations will be held in a total of 4 sessions on the second and third days of the congress, at the times specified in the program. The time allotted for each speaker is 10 minutes in total, 8 for presentation and 2 for discussion.

POSTER EVALUATION COMMITTEE

Posters will be exhibited in a special reserved area on dates and places determined by the organizing committee. On the second, third and fourth days of the congress, a poster discussion will be held at the beginning of the posters at the hours specified in the program, under the chairmanship of the evaluation committee. Posters will be presented in digital / electronic format.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Sending abstracts "online" via the congress website (www.kmtd.org.tr) is the only valid method of submission. Regardless of the system, e-mail, cargo, mail, etc. Papers sent by other means will not be accepted. You can access the “online” abstract submission system via the congress website.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: 17 OCTOBER 2025

Papers to be presented at the congress must be capable of contributing to scientific development and must give a concluding message. Since abstracts sent over the internet will be printed in the same way, attention should be paid to spelling errors. Authors are responsible for all spelling errors.
